When the opportunity arises to be able to write about something personal, there is always the inner fear about sharing personal things with others. There is also that excitement about sharing things in your life that you enjoy. When I got the chance to write about my experience purchasing a car, I was more than excited to write an article about it. I had waited a long time to trade in the family mini-van and gave a lot of thought as I drove around trying to figure out which car would be the best fit for me.
While I waited to be able to purchase another vehicle, I read online articles about cars, I searched to find out what my mini-van was worth to trade in, and I just looked at the cars that were out on the road to see what people were driving. Finally, I was able to go out and really start shopping for a car. I test drove a few cars and looked at many more. I was picky on which cars to test drive since I wasn't going to waste my time on driving a car and spending the day at a dealership if it wasn't worth it.
Then my dream came true. I found the absolute right car for me. It might not be the car for many, but for my needs, price point, and wants the Kia Soul was everything I could have hoped for. Even after my little honeymoon was over, my love for the car remained. So, when I got the chance to write an article about my test drive experience with my Kia Soul I was at my keyboard ready to write.
There are just those times when writing about life experiences can be so much fun, it makes me happy that I have a job where I can write articles like this.
